On Friday, January 16 the Carmelo Anthony Foundation teamed up with Grammy Award winning singer and songwriter Ne-Yo’s Compound Foundation to co-sponsor the Perennial Sports and Entertainment Artists and Athletes for a Cause party.

The event was a celebration of the election of President Barack Obama and it took place at House of Sweden in Washington, DC. Carmelo Anthony and his fiancé La La Vazquez flew in from Denver for the event. Perennial Sports and Entertainment generously donated $10,000 to the Carmelo Anthony Foundation.
